Are you feeling intimidated about going to your first tournament? Are you tired of being trampled by classified fencers? Then this is the tournament for you.
Who can enter? Open to all beginners, unclassified and D classified fencers. Veterans and Youth 14 is open to all classifications.
How old do I have to be? Old enough to have fun. Due to popular demand we will also have a Mixed Youth 14 (age 14 and under) category.
What equipment do I need? Electric scoring will be used. Remember your sous plastron, and you can wear track/sweat pants, but no lycra.

How much does it cost? Entry fee is $30 per weapon, cash only, payable at the door. You also will need an OFA competitive membership plus valid CFF membership (not available at the venue).
Pre-registration. We will be using En Garde software, so pre-registration is necessary, or you will have to pay $40 to enter. Please pre-register by Thursday, 18 February, 2010 at www.newmarketfencing.com with your name, weapon(s), CFF number, and club.
All fencers are subject to Article t.15 of the FIE Rules and Regulations. This tournament will not count towards OCC points, national rankings or World Cup points.
Sounds great, but where is the tournament? The tournament will be held at the Yuill Gym, St. Andrew’s College, 15800 Yonge Street in Aurora, only 25 km north of Toronto.
From the 401, take 404 north. Exit at Mulock and turn west towards Newmarket. Stay
on Mulock until you reach Yonge. Turn left (south) on Yonge, and go past St. John’s Side Road. St. Andrew’s College is at the next set of traffic lights on the right (west) across from the Auto Mall.
If coming from the 401 west, take 400 north. Exit at highway 9, Orangeville and Newmarket exit. Go right (east) until you reach Yonge. Turn right (south) on Yonge, and go past St. John’s Side Road. St. Andrew’s College is at the next set of traffic lights on the right (west) across from the Auto Mall.
